Meet the Fleet Response Class of 2026

Every summer brings new faces, fresh perspectives, and a lot of excitement to Fleet Response. This year is no exception.

We are proud to welcome our Class of 2026 interns, a talented group of students representing universities across the country and a variety of academic backgrounds. From finance and accounting to cybersecurity, communications, and leadership, these interns are spending the summer gaining hands on experience, exploring career paths, and learning what life looks like beyond the classroom.

While each intern brings different interests and goals to Fleet Response, one thing stood out in getting to know them: they are eager to learn, excited to contribute, and ready to embrace every opportunity that comes their way.

Originally from Silver Lake, Ohio, Jack Perry is joining the 3rd Party Claims team while pursuing a degree in Strategic Leadership and Management at Ohio University. Jack was drawn to Fleet Response because he wanted to gain professional experience and better understand how different departments work together to support a larger mission. This summer, he hopes to strengthen his leadership skills and become someone his team can count on. Outside of work, Jack stays busy as a drummer in three bands at school. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with his kitten, Rick James.

Rylyn Dearstine, who calls Hudson, Ohio home, is studying Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Alabama. She was excited about the opportunity to develop her communication skills while gaining insight into how a business operates behind the scenes. Rylyn hopes to build meaningful relationships, grow professionally, and apply what she has learned in the classroom to real world situations. When she’s not working, she enjoys yoga, tennis, hiking, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Aiden Bulanda, from Streetsboro, Ohio, is studying Cybersecurity Engineering at Kent State University and will spend the summer with the Information Technology team. Aiden is eager to experience what working in IT looks like in a professional setting and gain a deeper understanding of how technology supports an organization. He hopes to expand both his technical knowledge and professional network during his internship. Outside the office, Aiden enjoys golfing, visiting amusement parks, and spending time with family and friends.

Mason Cormier, from Macedonia, Ohio, is studying Finance at The Ohio State University and joins the Subrogation department this summer. Mason was looking for an opportunity to gain hands on business experience and explore how his studies translate into the workplace. He hopes to contribute meaningful work while learning more about both the industry and himself. Outside of Fleet Response, Mason enjoys sports, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Also representing The Ohio State University is Carter Block, who grew up in Sagamore Hills, Ohio. Carter is majoring in Finance and spending his summer in 1st Party Claims. He is looking forward to gaining real world experience, understanding the insurance industry, and building professional relationships that will support his future career goals. When he’s not in the office, Carter enjoys sports, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.

Joshua Ware, also from Sagamore Hills, Ohio, is studying Economics at Kent State University and working within 1st Party Claims. He hopes to challenge himself, grow professionally, and better understand what it means to deliver exceptional client service. Outside of work, Dash enjoys weightlifting, golfing, following the stock market, and spending time with family and friends.

Hailing from Hudson, Ohio, Ava Trainor is studying Business Management and International Business at the University of Tennessee. Through her experience supporting both 3rd Party Claims and Vendor teams, Ava is excited to gain exposure to a corporate environment and collaborate with fellow interns throughout the summer. She hopes the experience will provide valuable insight as she begins shaping her future career plans. When she’s not working or studying, Ava enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her dog.

Finally, Cooper Lewis, another Hudson native, joins Fleet Response’s Accounting team while studying Accounting at the University of Florida. Cooper is eager to see how the principles he’s learned in the classroom apply in a professional setting and hopes the experience will help him determine whether accounting is the right long term career path for him. Outside of work, Cooper enjoys golfing, wake surfing, watching football, and spending time with the people who matter most to him.

Although their paths to Fleet Response may have been different, this group shares a genuine enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to embrace new experiences. Throughout the summer, they will have opportunities to collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop skills that will serve them long after graduation.

At Fleet Response, we believe internships should provide more than just work experience. They should offer mentorship, growth, and a chance to discover new possibilities.

We are excited to be part of these students’ journeys and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the months ahead.

Please join us in welcoming the Fleet Response Class of 2026. We’re glad you’re here.
