Fleet Response Interns Showcase Innovation During Final Presentations

As another successful summer internship comes to a close, Fleet Response proudly recognizes the hard work, collaboration, and creativity demonstrated by our 2026 intern class.

Throughout the summer, our interns gained hands-on experience across departments including Claims, Subrogation, Client Engagement, Safety, Accounting, Information Technology, and more. In addition to learning from their day-to-day roles, they worked together on team projects designed to challenge their critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

To conclude the program, the interns presented their findings and recommendations to Fleet Response’s senior leadership team, managers, and supervisors. These presentations represented weeks of research, collaboration, interviews with subject matter experts, and thoughtful analysis of real business opportunities. The interns fielded questions from leadership, explaining how they approached their research, evaluated potential solutions, and developed recommendations backed by data and collaboration.

One team focused on identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency across the organization. By interviewing employees, gathering feedback from subject matter experts, and evaluating existing workflows, they developed recommendations centered on streamlining processes, strengthening knowledge sharing, and leveraging existing technology to reduce repetitive administrative work. Their ideas emphasized practical improvements that could help employees spend more time on high-value work while continuing to deliver exceptional service.

The second team explored strategic opportunities to support Fleet Response’s continued growth. Their research included evaluating industry trends, assessing market opportunities, analyzing competitive landscapes, reviewing operational considerations, and developing recommendations for potential future service expansion. Through detailed research and thoughtful analysis, they demonstrated how strategic planning, financial evaluation, and operational readiness all play an important role in supporting long-term business growth.

What made both presentations especially impressive was the confidence and professionalism each intern displayed. Throughout the presentations, Fleet Response’s senior leadership team, managers, and supervisors engaged the interns with thoughtful questions about their research methods, assumptions, recommendations, and decision-making process. The interns confidently explained how they gathered information, collaborated across departments, incorporated feedback from subject matter experts, and arrived at their conclusions. Their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and defend their ideas reflected just how much they had grown over the course of the summer.

Beyond the presentations themselves, the experience highlighted the value of collaboration. Working in teams, the interns combined their unique backgrounds and departmental experiences to tackle complex business challenges from multiple perspectives. Along the way, they strengthened their communication, leadership, research, and presentation skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how departments across Fleet Response work together to serve our clients.

We are incredibly proud of everything this year’s intern class accomplished. Their curiosity, teamwork, professionalism, and willingness to take on meaningful business challenges made a lasting impact, and we appreciate the fresh perspectives they brought to Fleet Response throughout the summer.

Thank you to our interns for an outstanding summer, and thank you to the leaders, managers, supervisors, and mentors who invested their time in helping them learn, grow, and succeed. We wish each of our interns continued success as they take the next step in their academic and professional journeys, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.
