22 May Fleet Response Honors Veterans with Striking Flag Display in Hudson
As Memorial Day approaches, the lawn outside Fleet Response headquarters in Hudson, Ohio, has once again been transformed into a powerful symbol of patriotism and remembrance.
More than 60 large American flags, along with the flags representing each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, now line the company’s property, fluttering in the spring breeze and serving as a bold tribute to the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country.
This annual display is part of Operation Flags of Freedom, a collaborative initiative with the Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT), a local nonprofit that supports military families and promotes patriotism throughout the region. Thanks to the hard work of NEOPAT volunteers, the display is more than just a visual landmark, it’s a statement of gratitude.
“Every flag is a story. A reminder of someone’s courage, someone’s sacrifice,” said Allison Lanzilotta, President and CEO of Fleet Response. “We’re proud to continue this tradition in partnership with NEOPAT, and we’re especially honored to celebrate the veterans within our own team.”
A Tribute That Hits Home
Inside the company, the impact is deeply felt. For many at Fleet Response, the flags offer a daily moment of pride, gratitude, and reflection.
“It’s not just a visual, it’s emotional,” shared one Fleet Response employee. “When I drive into work and see those flags, I’m reminded of the people I served with, the values we uphold, and the support we have here.”
Another added, “It sends a message that our company sees us, supports us, and honors the sacrifices we’ve made. That’s not something every workplace offers.”
A Community Inspired
The display has also captured the attention and appreciation of the wider Hudson community.
“We’ve received so many kind words from local residents who drive by each day,” said Jeff Fender, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fleet Response. “They tell us how inspiring it is to see the flags and how much they appreciate this visible act of remembrance. That kind of response shows how powerful a simple display can be.”

The flag installation is made possible by the dedicated volunteers of NEOPAT, an organization committed to honoring and supporting U.S. service members and their families. NEOPAT’s mission to preserve patriotism in Northeast Ohio is lived out through events like this and year-round outreach.
