Sam Ryba Selected as Employee of the Month for February 2023

Fleet Response is proud to announce Sam Ryba as the employee of the month for February 2023.

Sam joined Fleet Response just over 5 years ago as a call center representative. She then worked as a claims representative before being promoted to claims supervisor in January of 2022. As a claims supervisor, Sam oversees a team of 12 claim representatives.

She was one of the eight graduates of the 2022 Fleet Response LEaD Program, where she completed a seven-month course consisting of eight modules on leadership and management, team building exercises, and a presentation to the executive leadership team.

This is Sam’s third employee of the month recognition. The first of which being November of 2019, and again in August of 2021.

Her vibrant personality and positive energy are shown as she greets her colleagues around the office and checks on team members to offer assistance.

“I cannot stress enough how helpful and important Sam is in her role for the claims department,” said a colleague. “She is always upbeat, positive, and willing to help however she can. She shows up every day and makes everyone feel welcome. Sam has the deepest passion for helping people and excelling in her position as a supervisor and I can’t think of someone more deserve than Sam.”

Sam said what makes her most proud to work at Fleet Response is “seeing how much my co-workers care about helping others and receiving positive feedback from clients.”

One nomination read, “Sam has been able to jump on anything, even accounts that she doesn’t oversee. She’s been an extremely reliable source of help and continues to excel at helping clients.”

“Not only is she the glue that keeps me together, but she is always willing to help anyone on any team,” said another co-worker. “She walks around the office to greets her co-workers every morning and afternoon just to make sure everyone is well. She is a fountain of knowledge on how to handle certain situations. When you need a shoulder to cry on, or just talk to, she is always there. She’s reliable, trustworthy and one of the hardest working people I know, and it inspires me daily to do my best.”

When asked about her most memorable day at Fleet Response, Sam replied, “Being offered the claims supervisor position, and getting the opportunity to work closer with Jessica Jeko and individual reps.”

In her free time, Sam enjoys crafting and spending time with her dog, Ichabod.
