23 Jul 2019 Jarvis Landry Sports Challenge
Fleet Response families participated in the Jarvis Landry Sports Challenge, an event to raise funds for the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation, by competing in a series of sports challenges.
Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns wide receiver, serves as an honorary chair with the CF Foundation and chose to work with this foundation because of a high school friend who lost her battle in 2015. Jarvis promised her he would continue the fight against CF and raise awareness of the disease.
“Fleet Response is proud to have our families partner with this event to help fund and fight for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis,” Fleet Response President & CEO, Scott Mawaka said. “We’re proud of our children and impressed by their skills!”
The competition included five challenges: Football Pass, Obstacle Course, Running Challenge, Football Catch, and Football Field Goal. The Jarvis Landry Sports Challenge was wrapped up by an awards ceremony. Trophies were awarded to the top performing individuals in each age bracket, with Fleet Response placing in most of the challenges. Click here to read the story on Cleveland.com
