ABOUT FLEET RESPONSE

Fleet Response is a family-owned company that was founded by Ron Mawaka Sr. in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1986 as Rental Concepts, Inc. (RCI).

The original focus of the organization was to manage temporary business rentals. However, as the needs of our clients evolved, so did RCI, expanding in 1997 to include accident and maintenance management programs under the name Integrated Vehicle Systems (IVS).

In 2003 Rental Concepts, Inc. and Integrated Vehicle Systems combined to create Fleet Response, one company that offers comprehensive custom fleet services. A full safety program was added in 2005, and in 2012 we launched FleetSuite, an exclusive, proprietary, custom-built online tool offering access to real-time claims, maintenance and safety data at any time.

Over the years, Fleet Response has steadily grown and continues to operate on the founding principles of innovation, professionalism, accountability and effectiveness. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies with fleets ranging from 50 to 25,000 vehicles.

Through a nationwide network of vendors and more than 30,000 vehicle service providers, Fleet Response clients include insurance companies along with corporate, truck, rental, heavy equipment and government fleets.

Fleet Response has been named a Plain Dealer Top Workplace and featured as a growing firm in Crain’s Cleveland Business. We are a member of NAFA, RIMS, NAMIC and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals. We are I-CAR Gold certified, and every adjustor is I-CAR Platinum trained and ASE certified. We currently have more than 100 employees who provide support for accident, maintenance, and safety programs.

The goals of the Fleet Response Advisory Board are to strengthen current relationships, receive input on continuous improvements within Fleet Response and the services provided, and facilitate round-table discussions with fleet/risk managers to discuss existing and potential services that will benefit our clients and provide product education and promotion.

RCI creates On-line Information Service (OLIS)

OLIS provides information regarding accident claims that clients can use to oversee claims and the repair process. Using OLIS, clients can search for a claim, view cost and status information of a claim, give approvals for processes and generate reports.

SAS No. 70 (also commonly referred to as a “SAS 70 Audit”) is widely recognized, because it represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control objectives and control activities, which often include controls over information technology and related processes. In today’s global economy, service organizations or service providers must demonstrate that they have adequate controls and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their customers.

Fleet Response offers Comprehensive Safety Program Driver History Profile (DHP)

Using DHP, Fleet Response evaluates accident trends and make recommendations to minimize risk, liability and possible litigation. Driver History Profile includes: Request and review motor vehicle records electronically, assigning points according to motor vehicle record and accident infractions, safety training assignment and management, electronic notification of risk change to management and of training class requirements to drivers, web-based and behind-the-wheel training, nightly update of accident claim information, multiple search engines and reporting options, administrative tools including user and password maintenance.
